So 26 years ago today, a small wildfire was being fought by many brave men and women. Through a series of bad management decisions, terrain, and weather the fire blew up and caught and killed 14 firefighters. This pic shows that moment. The house I live in is between the photographer and the fire.
Our town will never forget the sacrifice made in the South Canyon fire on Storm King mountain that day.
